Who is responsible
The Qualor project runs qualor.dev and is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to privacy@qualor.dev about anything on this page.
The contact form
When you send the form, we receive your name, your email address, your company if you give it, the topic and your message. They reach us as an email: Amazon Web Services delivers it from the EU to our Google mailbox. The website keeps no copy; its log records only the topic and the outcome, for 30 days.
We use your message to answer you and, if you buy a licence, for that order. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps before a contract that you ask for. We keep the conversation as long as it and any order need it, and delete it when you ask, unless the law makes us keep it, as it does for invoices.
Mail to any address at qualor.dev is received by Amazon Web Services in the EU, kept there for 30 days, and forwarded to our Google mailbox.
Analytics and ads measurement
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to learn which pages help visitors and which ads bring them. The Google tag records the pages you open; clicks on links and buttons such as Get started, GitHub or Docker Hub; commands you copy from code blocks; and that you sent the contact form, never what you wrote. With them go your browser and device, your approximate location and the page or ad you came from.
In the EU and the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the tag sets no cookies and sends no identifiers until you accept. Until then it sends Google only cookieless signals, which Google uses for aggregated, modelled reports. The legal basis there is your consent. Elsewhere, measurement is on unless you decline, on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time in , which is also at the bottom of every page.

Declining removes the Google cookies from this site.
Server logs
Like every web server, ours records each request: the IP address, the time, the address requested and the browser. We use the logs to keep the site running and secure, and they are deleted after 14 days.
Who else handles the data
Amazon Web Services hosts the site, the contact form and our mail in the EU. Google provides the analytics, the ads measurement and our mailbox. We don't sell personal data or share it with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and take it elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time in Cookie settings; that doesn't affect what happened before. Write to privacy@qualor.dev. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
